This program offers a clinical overview comparing all ceramic systems to composite metal frameworks.

(Captek™) as a solution to the most challenging cases from demanding single crowns to extensive bridgework.

It will also help to routinely upgrade results and increase confidence in your fixed restorations over natural or implanted abutments.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
• Confidently increase endurance and performance of their restorations.
• Enhance their esthetic results to optimize patient satisfaction.
• Predict the outcome for the most challenging single crowns and extensive bridgework. • Understand the science of the composite materials, Captek, in relationship to clinical application and future significance.

Speaker: Dr. Bill Piskorowski is a 1979 graduate of Loyola University Dental School. He is currently the Director of Outreach and Community Affairs, an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Science and Endodontics and the Co- Director of “Principles of Restorative Dentistry curriculum at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. He is a consultant for “The Dental Advisor”, Captek and a lecturer for Streamside Seminars LLC.

Day 1: Endodontics vs. Implants -What does the evidence say?
Endodontics vs. Implants: We will consider the parameters in making decisions based on the newest evidence involving the restoration of endodontic teeth and the oral environment necessary to diagnose predictable implant placement and subsequent restorations utilizing composite metal systems.

Day 2: Material selection: .What, When, Why.
A comparison of ceramic systems and emphasis on composite metals (Captek). What is the ideal material to use for the treatment of endodontically treated teeth or implants?

Day 3: Analyzing and planning cases:
"Physics Forceps" and related techniques relevant to site development for implant placement. Physics Forceps techniques can achieve atraumatic extractions in seconds.
-reduce post operative discomfort and patient healing time.
-effectively preserve the avelor ridge in preparation for implants
Computer guided implant placement...A case review.

Day 4: Smile Analysis
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
