Smoking Hot.
The weather has turned more summer like again, bringing with it smoking hot fishing and real smoke from regional fires. As you can see from some of the backgrounds in the photos below, the smoke didn’t keep us from catching some true giants this trip as the big girls move back into the weedbeds. Although we are protected from threat of fire since the summer of ’21, the smoke travels very far distances causing concern for those even in the USA. It typically leaves in a day or so and brightens back up with clear air and skies.
The fish don’t seem to care as displayed in our Great Catch collection from Trip 13.
