August is here!

The seasons are changing.

As soon as the calendar hits the 8th month of the year, new things start happening here at the lodge.

Cool evenings and pleasant temperatures start turning our leaves ever so slowly toward their fall colors. Shorter days and the northern lights at night seem to be the sentinels of fall. The fish feel it as well.

August starts pushing our large fish to feed in the cooler water, preparing them for the long winter. This is a great time of the year to size up on our presentations and get ready for a ride!
