Fate. Chance. Karma. Luck.

Sometimes, in life, it feels like the world is against you. Imagine if the trip you have been planning and anticipating for a year suddenly is gone. Cancellations, closures or bad luck crushes your anticipation of an experience you were hoping to have.

That very thing happened to one of our new guests. An urgent last minute call looking for availability is usually answered with the reality of our return guests booking their trips a year prior. But, as fate would have it, we had room for two guests.

After staying with us and catching his personal best pike he made quite a statement. “I’ve fished all across the country of Canada the past 30 years and have had great times. The combination of quality staff, service, equipment and accomodations matches the fishing experience. I have finally found a home here, we will be back next year.”
