Trip 7: July 3 – July 6, 2024

Learning.

With any great endeavor, learning is an important part of the entire process.

Whether you experience a fish for the first time or the five hundredth, there is always something to learn. Maybe it’s your first northern pike, lake trout, walleye or arctic grayling. Could be a first on a flyrod, antique lure or heirloom equipment. The first is usually memorable, regardless of size.

Taking time to ponder the very first one leaves an impression that can last a lifetime. You never forget your first. This wonderful sport of fishing can teach us many lessons, create such vivid memories and create relationships with others who have the kindred spirit. Whether you are a 6yr old or an 80 yr old, the excitement of feeling the rod bend and the power of tug-of-war never gets old.

That’s what “Catch A Memory” is all about.
